Your student visa
International Students - Visa Information
International students wishing to study at the NWRC must apply for a student visa.
From the 22nd February 2010, any visa applicant who applies to study in the UK under Tier 4 of the points-based system must have a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) from the College. The college will issue CAS’s once you meet all of the following criteria;
- Successful Interview & unconditional offer onto course
- Hold a minimum of IELTS 5.5
- Paid £1000 deposit (refundable should your visa application be unsuccessful)
Your CAS from the NRWC will include your unique CAS number, our sponsor license number, information about the course of study, fees due for the period of study, a list of qualifications submitted with your application and your own personal details. You will require all of this information to successfully complete your visa application. Once issued with a CAS it will only remain valid for 6 months from the date assigned, you can hold more than one CAS should you wish to apply to other colleges/universities, however once this is used, any others in your possession will become invalid.
Student applications for visa’s can be made from 3months before the start date of the course. You can only enroll at the NWRC if you use the CAS provided by us, and your visa includes the NWRC sponsor license number.
